I am Dan, a recently licensed amateur radio operator in Ozark, Alabama. I received my General Class ticket in October 2023.

I don't spend a lot of time on the air as I am still working on building up my Ham Shack. I have a long way to go.

I hope to meet you on the air.

Other things: I am retired but I have recently returned part time to work. I work mostly on Wednesdays and Fridays, which allows me to help a friend by covering for her days off. I do some IT work for the town of Pinckard, Alabama as well as assist in the water department office.

I'm glad to help out where I can.

I am also attempting to get involved with the local community and amateur radio by joining the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and getting involved in SkyWarn (weather). This will involve some training, those classes are upcoming.
